When people ask me what I enjoy about scouting I tell 'em it's the life experiences. Scouting has provided me with a ton of life experiences that I otherwise would not have been exposed to. In the past few years I've not only earned the rank of Eagle Scout but I've been fortunate enough to have attended the National Youth Leadership Training camp (NYLT), Summer Camp, High Adventure experiences at Sea Base in the Florida Keys, Northern Tier in the U.S. Boundary Waters, Philmont Scout Ranch and the National Jamboree at Summit Bechtel Scout Reservation.
The next year has several opportunities in store for me and my troop as well. Not only are there more camp and high adventure opportunities in summer of 2026 but I'm using my time and experience to coach junior scouts in hopes they can experience the same growth I've been so fortunate to enjoy.
Scouting has taught me that nothing worth doing comes easy. For me to be able to participate in these life experiences, I need to earn my keep. In short I need to earn the funds to pay for all this. That's where selling popcorn comes in. 33% of my popcorn sales goes directly to my scout account to fund these adventures. The harder I work, the more I make. Isn't that the way it should be?
I hope you'll take a minute to check out all the ways you can help support my mission.
How can I order popcorn?
There are 2 easy ways to purchase popcorn.
For those of you local to the 78108 zip code (Cibolo, TX) click on the "Local Orders" button below to view my physical popcorn inventory. These are products I have on hand and can work directly with you to take payment and arrange delivery.
For those outside my home area, or for those that may enjoy a product I am unable to stock personally, click on the "Online Orders" button below. This will take you to my page at Pecatonica River Popcorn. They are the manufacturer of the popcorn and have an online ordering process set up. They will ship you your order directly.
Where can I get my hands on some of Drew's popcorn today?
Popcorn season runs August through October. If I'm not out camping I intend to have a booth set up somewhere selling popcorn. Use the calendar below to find out where I'll be.
